High-Quality, Fun Camp Programming and Jewish Education
When schools are closed and parents need to be at work, Makom Community is here with FUN camp programming and learning for kids. All of our camp days run from 8:30AM – 4PM and are complete with outside playtime, healthy snacks, and fabulous activities! Makom Community camp days are created for kiddos 4-10 years old. Our individual camp days throughout the school year are $90. Please note that prices increase for camp days a week prior to their start date.

Upcoming Camp Themes:
- Explore the Seder: April 10
- Pesach is nearly upon us and, with it, the dramatic retelling of the Jewish people’s journey from slavery to freedom. Campers will embark on an exploration of the Pesach seder (ordered, festive meal) as an extensive story-telling ritual. We’ll enjoy a room escape-style scavenger hunt to find our way to freedom and an array of games, puzzles, art projects, and holiday food tastings to get a hands-on feel for a seder experience.
- Adventures Around the World Camp: June 17-21
- What places outside of the city have you explored? Campers will travel around the world at School’s Out Camp! We’ll explore different foods, music, nature, and other fun from places outside of our community in Philadelphia. Our week will be filled with crafts, games, books, and of course, fun in the sun!
- Animal Camp: August 19-23
- Lions and Tigers and Bears, oh my! This August, campers will learn about all sorts of animals, from the tiniest creatures to the biggest we can imagine! How do our relationships with animals impact our planet? What does Torah teach us about animals? We’ll explore all of that and more through games, art, stories, and more at School’s Out Camp!
